Californication is the seventh studio album by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on June 8, 1999. The album was produced by Rick Rubin and marked the return of guitarist John Frusciante, which significantly influenced the band’s sound and direction. 

This vinyl edition is a limited‑edition, double‑LP pressed on 180‑gram vinyl. 

This album became the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ most commercially successful studio release, selling over 15 million copies worldwide and achieving seven-times Platinum status in the U.S.
