Rage Against the Machine is the self-titled debut studio album by American rock band Rage Against the Machine, originally released on November 6, 1992. 

This is an iconic album, both musically and visually. The cover features the Pulitzer Prize–winning photograph of Vietnamese monk Thích Quảng Đức, who set himself on fire in 1963 in protest against the persecution of Buddhists. The powerful imagery reflects the band's political stance and became an enduring symbol associated with their message.
